NEET UG Result 2022 Live: The NEET result will be announced today, September 7. Along with the NEET 2022 result, NTA will also issue the all-India merit list and cut-off scores.




NEET 2022 Result: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test Undergraduate result (NEET UG result 2022) today, September 7. Sources in NTA told Careers360 that NEET 2022 result time is between 6 and 8 PM . As soon as the NTA NEET 2022 result is declared, medical aspirants can check it on the official website -- neet.nta.nic.in. NTA has already issued the NEET answer key. Candidates could send feedback and raise grievances against the answer key of NEET till September 2. The NEET UG paper comprised -- Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology). Each subject consisted of two sections. Section A had 35 questions and Section B 15. Out of the 15 questions in Section B, candidates had to attempt any 10 questions.

  1. Visit NTA’s official website -- neet.nta.nic.in
  2. On the Home Page, click ‘NEET 2022 Result’ under Latest Announcement
  3. On the next window enter credentials including NTA NEET application number and date of birth
  4. Click and access the NEET 2022 result
  5. Download NEET UG 2022 scorecard, take a printout for further reference

NEET Result 2022 Live: 
The neet.nta.nic.in website will make the NEET result link available. Along with the NEET 2022 result, NTA will also issue the all-India merit list and cut-off scores and scorecards of individual candidates.


NEET Results.nic.in Cut-Off 2022

Last year, the NEET cut-off for unreserved category students has gone down from 720-147 in NEET 2020 to 720-138 in NEET 2021. The NEET cut-off last year for students belonging to reserved categories including Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Other Backward Classes (OBC) have also dropped from 146-113 last year to 137-108 in NEET UG last year.

NEET UG 2022 Results NTA: Marking Scheme

  1. Correct Answer: Four marks (+4)
  2. Incorrect Answer: Minus one mark (-1)
  3. Unanswered/Marked for Review will be given no mark (0)
  4. If more than one option is found to be correct then Four marks (+4) will be awarded to only those who have marked any of the correct options
  5. If all options are found to be correct then Four marks (+4) will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question
  6. If a question is found to be incorrect or the question is dropped then Four marks (+4) will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question. The reason could be due to human error or technical error
  7. Candidates are advised to do the calculations with the constants given (if any) in the questions
