5 most famous fantastical creatures in novels of all time



imagination novels are a class apart! They are riveting, and draw you into a world of various unique possibilities, sometimes introducing us to new fantastical creations, mainly animals. These open up our imagination to enormous possibilities. Here are some of the most popular fantastical creatures in novels of all time-


Goblins




Goblins are grotesque tiny creatures that show in the folklore of European cultures. Right from Enid Blyton’s kids’s books, Noddy and Friends and Adventures in Toyland, to JK Rowling’s Harry Potter series, references to goblins are all where. They are generally seen as destructive, and nasty troublemakers. In Harry Potter, they are amusingly in charge of the bank and are extremely grumpy ill-tempered, and scheming creatures!


Vampires



Vampire characters have been another dear creature in fantasy novels. Their horrific nature ends up creating an charming plot.  Right from Count Dracula, made by BramsStoker( who possibly set the archetype for all future vampires) to Edward Cullen of the Twilight series, vampire characters have been dominant in famous fiction!


Dragons


Dragons are a famous reference in most fantasy series, containing Harry Potter, The Chronicles of Narnia, Eragon, Fantastic Beasts, and several  others. This fire-breathing animal is one of the most dearest fascinating creatures in the various worlds of fantasy. Sometimes they play a useful role, sometimes they play a dangerous role. However, they are magnificent creatures, with massive wings, and are necessarily
fiercely loyal to their masters.


Centaurs


Centaurs are creatures who are half horse and a half human. There are references to centaurs in all major fantasy novels, containing The Chronicles of Narnia and the Harry Potter series. It is a mythical creature that originated from the Greek mythology. The upper body is that of a person and the lower body is in the form of a horse, therefore, providing them 4 legs. These creatures are said to be extremely strong and live for up to 200 years.


Fauns



Fauns are creatures that are half-person and half-goat. One of the primary fantasy series which have a faun for a character is The Chronicles of Narnia, written by CS Lewis. They are generally short, have red or brown air, and have tiny horns on their head. Their lower physique resembles that of a goat. They generally dance around bonfires at night and play musical instruments, generally pipes. They generally are assumed to have long lives. They are one of the most gentlest and gorgeous creatures.
