Foundational Literacy & Numeracy training app for Educators in Gujarat
Designed to deliver Foundational Literacy & Numeracy (FLN) Training to early grade government educators/ teachers and educational administrators of Gujarat. The purpose is to build their teaching, pedagogical, monitoring and leadership competencies to enable better FLN outcomes for students in the State which are in accordance with the national FLN Mission. The Mission is part of National Initiative for Proficiency in Reading with Understanding and Numeracy (NIPUN Bharat) that lays down priorities and actionable agendas for States and UTs to achieve the goal of FLN proficiency for every child by grade 3 until 2026.

The key highlights of the Training are as follows:
Focus on Foundational Literacy & Numeracy
Well-structured program to build the capacity
Training in alignment to National Education Policy, 2020, NIPUN Bharat Guidelines & NCERT
Various styles of teaching-learning pedagogies e.g., mix of theory, activity, quizzes, assignments to ensure high retention
Curriculum built by Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) experts
Pre-and post assessments to gauge the effectiveness of the program
Bi-lingual program- Hindi & English
The App provides access to a seamless and high-value Learning Management System (LMS) for the trainees. It enables them to interact with the self-paced learning environment by providing them easy access to training structure, instructional videos, activities, assessments and webinars. It also has feedback & support features to ensure continuous support to the trainees.
This Training is conducted by Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited (RKCL) in collaboration with the Education Department, Government of Rajasthan (GoR). RKCL is a public limited company promoted by GoR and appointed as the nodal organization for training and capacity building programmes in the State.
